Absolutely! Our specialists are trained to work with all hair types, including thin, fragile, thick, coarse, wavy, curly, porous, and even bald hair. The primary focus of our Head Spa treatment is your scalp, not the hair itself. As long as you have a healthy scalp, we can tailor the treatment to your specific needs.

However, we kindly ask that you ensure proper access to your scalp for the best results. Unfortunately, we are unable to perform the Head Spa treatment on clients with extensions, braids, sew-ins, tape-ins, or similar styles that obstruct access to the scalp and hair follicles.

At the end of the day, the effectiveness of the Head Spa depends on the condition of your scalp, and as long as we can work with it, we can provide you with a rejuvenating experience.

We towel dry the hair only. Styling and hair drying is not included, however we do have a sit-in blow dryer you can use (10min) for an additional $15. 

Please DO let us know if you are Expecting! Ingredients in our Head Spa are all-natural and organic, making it totally safe for pregnant clients. However, if you are concerned about being exposed to certain types of oil, please consult first with your doctor and let us know in advance. Also, guests are to lie flat on their backs during the service, so if you are unable to do this, we suggest that you wait until after delivery. 

Any type of treated hair can use any of our ingredients safely! However, the color or keratin may fade during our detoxification process if you had any chemical treatments performed recently. We suggested clients wait at least 7 days after any sort of hair treatment prior to getting a Head Spa. 

Please contact us via text/phone at least 24 hours prior to your appointment date. This is for us to make any arrangements or product revisions before your session starts to ensure the best possible experience.

Yes. If you find yourself with concerns about severe allergic reactions to any products, you are definitely welcome to bring your own preferred shampoo and conditioner. Most of our products are for sensitive skin and scalp, however, a small percentage of people can still be sensitive to even the smallest amount ingredients.

Please remember to let us know in the intake form, when you book, about any allergic reactions to specific chemicals, herbs, or products. This will allow us to prepare the right product for you as well as recommend you to bring your product in. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE SESSION RATE IF CLIENTS BRING THEIR OWN PRODUCTS. Our pricing reflects the expertise, time and specialized techniques provided in each service. 

Anyone who forgets, consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason, or doesn't call will be considered a "no-show". You will be charged for the full price of the session since that time slot is wasted and another client can't get in the door, potentially one that really needed some work done that day.

** Note: If you had planned to use a Gift Certificate it will be voided or if you would be using your Drift Away Monthly Membership Massage you will lose the credit for that month.

We understand that life is complicated, and sometimes there are situations that are out of your control (family emergency, sudden illness, work, etc. Please be aware that our staff has your scheduled time specifically blocked off to help you reach your goals. Short notices hurt service quality, since it deprives someone else from being able to schedule that session.

PLEASE GIVE US ATLEAST 4 HRS IN ADVANCE BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME TO RESCHEDULE. 

We do not charge for rescheduling an appointment, however continuous rescheduling ( more than 2x) out of the 4 hr window will result in a $25 fee to be paid  before your next appointment. 

Due to the nature of our services, there are no refunds, or exchanges on services, prepaid series, packages, gift certificates, gift cards, or purchased products at any time.  Under no circumstances will refunds be issued for services rendered. 

Once in the private room, all cell phone usage will be prohibited. Please turn your phone off or set to silent mode and place it aside before starting the appointment.

While psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, and there is no guarantee that head spa treatments will completely cure or eliminate it, we offer several benefits that can help alleviate its symptoms.

Our scalp massages are a key part of the treatment, designed to increase blood circulation to the scalp. This can promote healing and reduce inflammation associated with psoriasis. Additionally, our exfoliation treatments help remove dead skin cells and other debris, reducing itching and flaking. 

We also offer nourishing and moisturizing treatments, which include soothing agents that can help calm the scalp and prevent excessive dryness. 

We encourage you to communicate openly with our staff about your psoriasis and any concerns you may have. For your safety, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before undergoing any spa treatment, especially if you have a chronic skin condition like psoriasis.

We CANNOT accept anyone with lice or still getting lice treatment and no exceptions.

We ask that you wait at least 2-3 months after you have resolved your lice situation.

We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. During the treatment, we provide a robe for your comfort. NO MAKEUP OR JEWELRY.
